Kevin McNatt Announces Candidacy for Sheriff of Autauga County, Alabama

Friends, neighbors, and citizens of Autauga County,

My name is Kevin McNatt, and after much thought, prayer, and encouragement from members of our community, I am officially announcing my candidacy for Sheriff of Autauga County, Alabama.

With a deep commitment to public safety and a sincere passion for serving the people of our county, I am ready to bring my extensive law enforcement training and experience to the Office of Sheriff. Throughout my career, I have worked tirelessly to uphold the law with integrity, fairness, and professionalism, and I am eager to lead our Sheriff’s Office with those same principles at the forefront.

I also bring a fiscally conservative administrative philosophy to this campaign. I believe in responsible, transparent budgeting and using taxpayer dollars efficiently to ensure that our communities remain safe and that deputies are supported with the training and resources they need, without unnecessary waste. Your next Sheriff should be a good steward of the taxpayers’ money.

As your next sheriff, I will work hand-in-hand with the citizens of Autauga County and the Autauga County Commission to strengthen partnerships, improve communication, and ensure that law enforcement efforts align with the needs and values of our community. Public safety is a shared responsibility, and I believe in leading with openness, collaboration, and mutual respect.

Autauga County deserves a sheriff who is experienced, accountable, and deeply connected to the people. I am committed to being that leader.
